Have to keep it fun!

I think it's fair to say that the fact my tanned skirt is a similar colour to my legs is a milestone in my life,  Lucy being known as pale is no more! On a more relevant note, the sun was shining so I decided to head out with my mum to snap some summery shots in my new favourite pieces. I'm sure you have all known and loved the suede trend for months now, yet it has taken me a while to jump on the band wagon. I just couldn't find a skirt in this texture that I liked, until I found this gem in H&M. The reason you should all go and buy this skirt is because the buttons are simply an illusion, it has a zip! If you're lazy like me, buttoning up a skirt is not a fun task and there is always the chance after a hefty meal that one of those buttons may decide to pop open without you realising. Why not embrace the button up trend without the struggle? I do appreciate the smallest things in life. I can see this graphic tee being one of the most worn pieces in my wardrobe as it is such a versatile piece. It is from Jolly Chic which are a fabulous store that is hosting a giveaway where the winner can win $20 to spend which you can easily get two pieces with!
Here is how to enter:

I will announce the winner on the 18th September on social media but E-mail the winner to let them know! It is definitely worth entering as the pieces on Jolly Chic are amazing for the price, you don't want to miss this chance! To finish off I wore these burgundy loafers from River Island as they add a slightly more mature effect along with my New Look bag. I love incorporating unique pieces into my wardrobe as it reflects my personality, you have to keep it fun!

  2. you look so cute! I know what you mean about fearing buttons on a skirt as my denim one tends to unbutton while I wear them sometimes, haha!
